| Formed as one of north central Ohio's first
free standing outpatient health centers
in April of 2000, Marion Area Health Center has grown to offer a broad
range of outpatient services such as laboratory, outpatient surgery, endoscopy, physical therapy, occupational health, occupational therapy,
orthotics,
industrial rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, sleep studies, a full
spectrum of radiology services and more. We continue to grow by adding to our already solid base of services for outpatient care in the communities we serve. We strive to recognize the needs of our patients first. Locally owned and operated as a joint venture between independent physicians, Marion General Hospital, and Smith Clinic, Marion Area Health Center provides economic benefits that stay in the community. The partnership of the Hospital and its physicians provides a backdrop for a cooperative community spirit in healthcare. We are focused and have a common mission to continue to develop and improve the healthcare system for our patients throughout the region.
